Personal Traveler

Traveling can be stressful enough without having to worry about losing your possessions. Whether traveling across the world or just going to the local store the Personal Traveler will help keep track of your personal belongings at all times. Hi-Tech wireless loss prevention can be the future of your security and peace of mind.

The Personal Traveler will not only alert you if something is left behind, but can also be used as a security device in the unfortunate event that someone tries to walk off with one of your belongings. Loss prevention is the key to a great trip.

How it works:

Keeping your belongings close is achieved by simply attaching each of the Personal Traveler TX units to the items you wish to monitor. The single Personal Traveler RX unit stays attached to you. If an item is ever more than a short distance away, the Personal Travel RX will sound an alarm. Once the item is returned within a close distance, the alarm will automatically stop.

The Personal Traveler TX and Personal Traveler RX are very simple to operate:

Personal Traveler TX

The TX unit is operated by pressing the on/off button to turn it on. A short beep will sound, and a green LED will flash approximately once a second indicating the unit is on and functioning properly.

The Personal Traveler TX can be attached to an item with the supplied spring loaded clip. Additional attachment methods can be used such as double sided foam tape, or a key-ring. The unit can also be placed inside of a compartment or pocket that can be securely closed.
     

Personal Traveler RX

The RX unit is used to monitor from one to four TX units attached to your personal belongings.

This unit is operated by pressing the on/off button to turn it on. A short beep will sound to indicate the unit has been turned on, followed by one to four beeps to indicate the number of TX units it will be monitoring.

The RX unit can be re-programmed to monitor from one to four TX units in two simple steps:

  1. Hold the on/off button down until 5 short consecutive beeps are heard, this indicates the unit is in program mode.
  2. Press the on/off button one to four times to indicate how many TX units will be monitored. A short beep will be heard after each button press.

At this point the RX unit will once again indicate how many TX units it will monitor by sounding the appropriate number of beeps. The Personal Traveler system is now ready for use.
